Pre-fit chains prior to actual use. No one wants to be in 8-10" of snow on the side of the road to find that they are un-familiar with the installation of their chains.

2. Consult owner's manual to see if chains can be used on your vehicle.

3. Make sure chains are properly sized for your tire.

4. Follow directions for installing tire chains. Apply as tightly as possible by hand for maximum chain life.

5. Be sure to pull off-highway to safe place before installing, servicing, or removing tire chains.

6. Do not deflate tires to install tire chains.

7. Drive approximately 1/4 mile. Stop and retighten. Extra links (depending on chain style) may be cut off, or preferably, retained on the fastener arm. Keep chains tight to snug throughout the operation.

8. Do not exceed 30 miles per hour. Accelerate and decelerate slowly. Avoid spinning or locking of wheels.

9. If a cross-chain should fail, stop immediately. Repair or remove. Do not drive with a damaged chain. You could cause damage to your tire or vehicle.

10. Avoid hitting curbs with tire chains.

11. Tire chains are not designed for towing.

www.tirechainsrequired.com

Tractor Tire Chains

Studded Tractor Chains offer extreme traction for off road use. I very much appreciate your
very courteous, knowledgeable customer service, prompt order handling and
quality product. Once the chains had arrived, I much appreciated the
advisement of your sales rep to select these chains over my original
choice, after some discussion. These will be a better choice for our
intended use.
I discovered TCR by doing a Google search for Tractor tire chains. This
followed after a period of time watching ebay auctions where individuals
were spending quite close to new chain prices for used chains, when they
were available. I began this search within the past couple months with a
limited knowledge of the various types of tractor chains available, their
specific applications and cost. In conclusion, of the many websites I
visited, yours was the most informative and easily usable. Other chain
company’s 110% price match guarantees aside, I found your prices
consistently and noticeably better. To me this represents a company that
is offering a decent value in the forefront rather than higher prices with
a price guarantee (for those actually search it out) to secure sales. I'd
sooner trade with a company that offers the square deal up front than
those with again in this case, noticeably higher initial prices with a
catch up guarantee.
We've used chains for years all essentially that came with equipment we
purchased. The high quality of your product is readily apparent. These
will give us years of service.
I thank you again and will certainly recommend you to others looking to
purchase chains as the top pick after all my research, by far.
Thank you again. I am very pleased with the entire scope of our
transaction and your product.
God bless, truly
Bart S. Four different options are available.

Super Stud diamond pattern is the most radical tire chain for ATV's I have ever seen. The diamond pattern design stays up on top of the tread for superior traction and the studs dig in to any off road surface you may encounter.

The A/T design also has the diamond pattern but with square links instead of studs. A more affordable option for those desiring a diamond pattern.

Their V-Bar option is offered in 4 link and 2 link spacing. The 2 link spacing provides twice as many cross chains for superior traction at an economical price.

Visit www.tirechainsrequired.com to view tire sizes and pricing.

Utah Tire Chain Regulations

41-6a-1636. Proper fit is very important.

• Install as tightly as possible by hand for maximum chain life and performance.

• Pull completely off the road and out of the way of traffic before installing, servicing, or removing tire chains.

• Do not deflate tires to install tire chains. (Tires should be normal inflation.)

• Drive approximately 1/4 mile. Stop and retighten chains. Extra links (depending on chain style) may be cut off or zip tied.

• Do not exceed 30 miles per hour. Accelerate and decelerate slowly. Avoid spinning or locking of wheels.

• If chains should fail, stop immediately and repair or remove. Do not drive with a broken tire chain.

• Avoid hitting curbs with tire chains.

• Tire chains are not designed for towing.

The dimensions of tires may vary between manufacturers and tread design profiles. We recommend that you pre-fit your chains prior to use. These tire chains may be designed to fit the largest tire profile within the tire size designation. Pre-fitting the chains will ensure that the chains will fit the tire when you are ready to use them.

View Many Chain Options at
TireChainsRequired.com

Welcome

In an effort to enhance the user experience here at Tire Chains Required, we have set up a community forum in which visitors can post their questions and comments.
